Contact the rectory during the 7th month of pregnancy to make
arrangements. Parents prepare for the Baptism of their infants by
participating in two evenings of community and instruction. Baptism is
celebrated either during an
afternoon ceremony or during Sunday liturgy. Dates in 2008 for a 1:30 ceremony are January 20, February 24, March 16 and April 20. Baptisms during
Sunday liturgy are scheduled for January 6 at the 12:00 pm, February 9 at the 5:30pm and April 6 at the 9:00am.

First Eucharist, Penance, and Confirmation (for Children)
Programs to prepare the children and teens of our parish to celebrate the
Sacraments of Penance, Eucharist, and Confirmation are conducted through
our Religious Education and Youth Ministry Programs. Sacramental
preparation is the joint responsibility of parents, volunteer catechists,
and our religious education teachers. Specific information is available
under Religious Education.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
-RCIA (Baptism, First
Eucharist, Confirmation for Adults):
A process for non-Catholics who wish to experience parish community and
join the Catholic Church. Also for Catholics who wish to return to the
Church or have not celebrated Eucharist or Confirmation. Read more about RCIA.

Marriage
In order to allow sufficient time to fulfill the various steps of
marriage preparation, contact a priest ONE YEAR prior to the proposed
date of Marriage to begin the preparation process and reserve the church.
Engaged couples prepare for the Sacrament of Marriage during Formation
Sessions with their parish priest and by attending Pre-Cana or Engaged Encounter.

Vocations
Is God calling you to the priesthood or to religious life? Please contact
the rectory to arrange a visit with a priest for discussion.

Anointing of the Sick & Visitation to the Homebound
Spiritual services and the Eucharist are offered to the sick in local
hospitals, to the elderly in the nursing homes, to shut-ins in their own
homes, and to other persons in need of such attention. Anyone who is to
be hospitalized (especially for surgery), please let the parish office
know so that you can be remembered in prayers and visited by a priest or
a minister of the sick.

Presider's Intention for
Liturgy
To arrange to have the Presider's Intention for
Liturgy reserved for a deceased relative or friend, anniversary of death
or 'special intention' for the living, stop at the Parish Office in the
Rectory.
