Sacramental Preparation Programs - Whether you are a Parent preparing to have your infant baptized; a newly engaged couple preparing for Marriage; an adult considering becoming a Catholic; or if you have children getting ready for Penance, Eucharist or Confirmation, we have a program for you.

  FOR CHILDREN FOR ADULTS


Sacramental Preparation for Children & Teens

Programs to prepare the children of our parish to celebrate the Sacraments of Penance, Eucharist, and Confirmation. Taught by the parents and reinforced by the teachers in the school and Religious Education Programs. Information will be provided on the specifics for these activities as part of the Religious Education K- Teen Program.

Marriage Preparation

Engaged couples prepare for the Sacrament of Marriage during Formation Sessions withg their parish priest and by attending Pre-Cana or Engaged Encounter.

Contact the Rectory (201-445-3703) to schedule an appointment with a parish priest ONE YEAR prior to the proposed date of marriage to begin the preparation process and reservce the Church. Contact the Rectory at 201-445-3703.


 

Baptism Preparation for Parents

Parents prepare for the Baptism of their infancts by participating in 2 evenings of community and instruction. Baptism is celebrated on the 2nd or 3rd Sunday of every month at a 1:30 PM ceremony and also during Sunday Liturgy 12 times each year. Baptsim is NOT celebrated during Lent.

Becoming a Catholic / Celebrating Sacraments

RCIA: RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS
A process for non-Catholics who wish to experience parish community and join the Catholic Church. Also for Catholics who wish to return to the Church or have not celebrated Eucharist or Confirmation. Read more about RCIA.
