Leaders / Cantors |
The
Song Leader servers as the leader of song supporting
the assembly's "active and conscious" participation
during our weekend, liturgical celebrations as well as weddings,
funerals, and other church-related events. The Song Leader
can fulfill the dual role of Song Leader and Cantor if comfortable
singing both. The Cantor sings the sung prayer for
example, the Psalm. Both Song Leader and Cantor should have
strong vocal and confident leadership skills. Song Leaders
and Canotrs are paid professionals and volunteers.
